The Whiteadder, pronounced ‘Witt-adder‘runs through the heart of Ellemford’s meadows and wooded valleys before meeting the river Tweed about a mile above Berwick. As a relatively small tributary of the Tweed it has a great heritage and a long season, offering sport most of the year.
